The Society went on their  Annual Trip to Pembrokeshire on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017, and focussed on the years 1403 and 1405 in Owain’s campaign.

Travellers were picked up in Llandeilo, Cross Hands and Carmarthen, before we stopped in Whitland for coffee and a visit to the Hywel Dda Centre.

We then continued to Haverfordwest and had our lunch at the Lord Nelson in Milford Haven.

The return journey involved travelling past Pembroke Castle, with stops in Carew Castle and Laugharne. The mound which once held the castle in St Clears was also pointed out as we made our way back via Carmarthen.
